Allen Eugene Lobbig

Allen Eugene Lobbig, 91, of Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at home.

He was born on May 11, 1932, in Alton, the son of the late Harold and Clara (Huette) Lobbig.

Allen married the love of his life, Betty Tucker, on October 31, 1954. They were able to share over 69 wonderful years of marriage.

He was a self-employed carpenter and general contractor before retiring. Allen was a member of Zion Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg.

Allen is survived by his wife, Betty; children Cheryl Lobbig of Brighton, Mark (Patty) Lobbig of Brighton, and Randy (Stephanie Lobbig) of Perryville, MO; two grandchildren Jake Rotermund and Kaitlin Lobbig.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara; brother Marion Lobbig.

The Family will be hosting a visitation from 9:30 am until a Celebration of Life at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Zion Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg, with a burial following at Fosterburg Cemetery.
