Betty Maxine Noble, 78, of Brighton died on Friday, October 9, 2020 at her home.

She was born on June 30, 1942 in Alton, the daughter of the late Ralph and Lois (Hildebrand) McManis.

Betty Married Thomas R. Noble in Alton. He preceded her in death in 2008.

She was a bus driver for Southwestern School District 9. She loved her job so much that when her youngest son Daniel needed a way to school and there was no special education bus, she volunteered to take him and the other kids. Betty enjoyed mystery novels, daytime soap operas, and more recently Netflix series.

Betty is survived by three sons Jeff Noble of St. Louis, Greg Noble of Brighton, and Daniel (Natalie) Noble of St. Peters; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers John (Mary) McManis, Clifford (Diane) McManis, and Jeff McManis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents, Ralph and Lois; grandson Lance Noble; sister in law Cathy McManis.

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded with a private family graveside at Noble Cemetery in Otterville.
