Clara A. Schwab, 91, of Brighton, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Jerseyville Manor.

She was born on July 1, 1933, in White Hall, IL, the daughter of the late Bernard H. and Agnes E. (Meyer) Schmidt.

Clara married Wilbert F. Schwab, on April 30, 1955, in Jerseyville, IL. He preceded her in death in August of 2022.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Ron) Saale of Godfrey, IL and Audra (Jim) Malotte of Omaha, NE; son, Kevin (Sandra) Schwab of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan, Meagan, Kristen, Emily, and Jacob.

Clara was also preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Agnes; and brother, Leo Schmidt.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton, IL.

Private family burial will take place at St. Francis Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL.
