Clarice Marie Sibley, 78, of Piasa, passed away on Wednesday August 4, 2021.
She was born on September 28, 1942 in Lawrence, KS to the late Ray and Anne (Copeland) Cotton.
Clarice married Paul Sibley on July 22, 1983 in Campsville. He preceded her on May 4, 2015.
She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. Clarice enjoyed riding horses, especially her horse Poncho. She had a love for flowers and could always be found in her garden.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin (Butch) Arview of South Roxanna and Chris Yates of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren Blake (Danielle) Shoemaker, Jessica (Adam) Andre, Erica Mullikin, and Stevie Legate; four great grandchildren Austin Andre, Anthony Andre, Lydia Evans, and Holden Shoemaker; two brothers Gary (Quilla) Ledford and Johnny Hooper; one sister Brenda (Paul) Locke.
Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Anne; husband, Paul; sister Starla McKinny; brother Ray “Sonny” Cotton Jr.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
