Edward F Drennan Jr.

Edward Francis Drennan Jr., 58 of Kemper, passed away at 1:23 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.

He was born on October 19, 1961 in Belleville to the late Edward Francis Sr. and Laura Kay (Crouch) Drennan.

Eddie married Sherrie Lynn Thornton on October 16, 2018 in Jersey County. She survives.

He served our country in the United States Army from 1981 to 1984.  Eddie worked for Blue Grass Marine.  He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. His family will always remember the smiles and laughter he took with him everywhere he went.

In addition to his wife, Sherrie, he is survived by four children Korie (Samantha Harstad) Thornton, Ryan Lenington, JD (Kaitlin) Lenington, and Heather (AJ) Lenington; six grandchildren Griffin, Mylee, Aiden, Averi, Keira, and Ivey; three siblings Pam Williamson, Kim Busse, and Michael Drennan; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Sr. and Laura; mother in law Thelma Schall.

Celebration of Eddie’s life will be held from 9:30 am until departure for Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at 10 am for inurnment on Friday, October 23,2020 at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

Memorials may be directed to Sherrie to assist with funeral expenses.
