Margaret Gerdt, 84, of St. Peters, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

She was born on July 14, 1941, in Alton, the daughter of the late Paul and Erika (Wiekhorst) Watson.

Margaret married Glenn Gerdt on December 1, 1962, in Alton. He survives.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Glenn; children, David (Amy) Gerdt of St. Charles, MO, Karen (Aaron) Coppedge of St. Peters, Mo, and Kevin (Connie) Gerdt of Wooldridge, MO; six grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Mathew, Ruthann, William, and Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Bill and Brenda.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 11 am on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton, IL.

Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
