Neil Y Duvall

Neil Y. Duvall, 49, of Brighton, passed away unexpectedly, the morning of Monday, January 3, 2022, at OSF St. Anthony Healthcare Center.

He was born April 5, 1972, in Granite City, Illinois, to Michael Duvall and Barbara Clark.

On May 15, 1999, Neil married Chasidy Muckensturm in Brighton. She survives.

Neil was a pipefitter, by profession, for Local 553. He completed a 4-year plumber apprenticeship. In his spare time, Neil liked to hunt and cheer on his Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to his wife, he will be missed by his sons, Dakota (Ayla) Duvall of Virden, Dylan Duvall of Brighton; his mother, Barbara Miller; granddaughter, Alivia Duvall; a brother, Robert Tidwell; and his in laws, Dale and Kimla Martin.

Neil was preceded in death by his father, Michael, and step father, Danny Miller.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the funeral home with Pastor Dala Lawrence, officiating.

Burial will follow in Brighton Cemetery.

Memorials in Neil’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
