Ruth Elaine (Loy) Kroeschel

Ruth Elaine Kroeschel, 82, of Medora, passed away at 3:18 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at her home.

She was born on June 18, 1939, in Fidelity Township at the family farm, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Doris (Reed) Loy.

Ruth married Kenneth Kroeschel on November 13, 1959, in Fidelity Township. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2008.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, doing puzzles, and playing cards. Ruth was always there for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Ruth is survived by three children, David (Sandy) Kroeschel, Darrell (Missy) Kroeschel, and Mary Kroeschel, all of Medora; three grandchildren, DJ (Amanda) Kroeschel, Dustin (Sarah) Kroeschel, and Kady (Zach) Darr; three great grandchildren, Abby, Sophie, and Carter Kroeschel; two brothers Everet Loy and Roger (Mary) Loy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Doris; husband, Kenneth; sister-in-law Florence Loy.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of funeral service at Noon, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
