It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryler Matthew Fretz, who gained his angel wings Monday, May 2, 2022, at St. Anthony Healthcare Center in Alton.

 

Ryler was born April 19, 2022, to Brandi Wolff and Ryan Fretz, who are devastated by their loss.

 

In addition to his parents, he will be deeply missed by his maternal grandparents, Nikki (Stuart) Hays, John (Amanda) Mueller; paternal grandparents, Jon and Jeannine Fretz; his older sisters and brother, Ava Wolff, Madison Fretz, Brett Fretz; God parents, Leah Engemann, Todd Wollmann; and aunts and uncle, Emme Hays, Eli Hays, Amber Cathorall.

 

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Corey.

 

Although this sweet boy was received into God’s arms too soon, he will remain in his family’s hearts forever.

 

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of funeral service at 3 pm on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

 

Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
