Shane Lee Wolfe Obituary

Shane Lee Wolfe was tragically taken from us on January 15, 2025, at his home in Jerseyville.


He was born on January 13, 1971, to Linda (Bailey) Kirchner and Bill Baze. Shane had just celebrated his 54th birthday. 


Shane went to Carrollton high school. He had numerous careers throughout his life but being a cook was always his passion. He loved to cook and fire up his grill at the drop of a hat. Shane had three hobbies that he was extremely passionate about, they include being a herpetologist, Shane always had an aquarium or 5 full of different snakes and spiders, riding his motorcycle every time the weather permitted, and fishing. 


He is survived by his trusted companion and side kick Jake; mother Linda Kirchner; two children Dalton Wolfe and Dakota Wolfe; grandson Mathew Wolfe; two siblings Wayne Wolfe (Sarah Lack) and Annamarie (Troy) Parish.


Shane was proceeded in death by his father Bill Baze and a brother Jeff Wolfe.


The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at 11 am on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Southwestern Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Fidelity.
