Teresa Jean Kappel, 59, of Alton, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born January 4, 1961, in Pittsfield, daughter of the late Adrian and Doris (Talkington) Kappel.
She will be missed by her son, Jaylon Orban of Alton; one grandson, Joey Orban; four sisters, Kathy Summers, Ruth (Dan) Goodrich, Joan Hartsock, Amy (Aaron) McWard; one brother in law, Jim “Toby” Lush; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lush; nephew, Danny Goodrich; and two brothers in law, Dale Summers and Randy Hartsock.
Cremation services have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to Joey Orban to further his education.
